Demand High asks if common practices in the ELT classroom have become rituals, more interested in “covering” materials and “doing” activities than asking questions that push students to new levels of understanding. Introduced at last year’s IATEFL conference by ELT superstars Jim Scrivener and Adrian Underhill, the idea has since momentum in the ELT community. Their blog includes many resources, presentations and teacher self-observation activities.
